Sun owl

Birthday present for my mom. She liked how I did "No More Black And White" so much, she attempted to brow-beat me into giving it to her. I didn't relent though, but I did promise I'd do her one for her upcoming birthday. Instead of the same sort of subject though, I made an owl, specifically a Barn Owl, since she adores them. I also colored it in warmer colors because she's a total summer person (she hates the winter) and she loves warm colors. Of all the birds I've done throughout my life (a lot), this is the first owl I've ever done. I need to do more! I love them! Owl, owl owl owl OWL.

I outdid myself with this one, and I daresay its better than the first iteration of this style. I'm thinking I might end up doing a series of these sorts of pictures, what do you think?

Its a photo because, just like the first, its too big to scan. Sorry that the colors are a bit washed out, but yeah.
